On Home
Projection Design · Contemporary Dance Performance
Presented by Voices Dance Project at Arts Court Theatre
On Home is an interdisciplinary performance exploring the journey of losing, seeking, and finding home. Centering themes of displacement, memory, and belonging, the piece features live music, collaborative choreography, and projection-mapped visual environments built from archival family footage. I designed and operated the projections, transforming fabric and stage space into shifting landscapes of memory and emotion.
As projection designer, I worked closely with the artistic team to create and operate layered visual environments that shifted in rhythm with the dancers’ movements. Using fabric-based surfaces, personal archives, and mapped light, I helped transform the stage into a living, responsive landscape that evoked both intimacy and disorientation. I also led the technical execution of the projection system, including cueing and live performance operation.
If you are interested in collaborating on projection mapping or installation-based work, please feel free to reach out via email.
